About T'ai Chi Chih

The T'ai Chi Chih discipline is a series of gentle movements that stimulate, circulate, and balance internal energy, called Chi (pronounced "chee").

Originated in 1974 by Justin F. Stone, (pictured at left) this non-martial and non-impact moving meditation is based on ancient Chinese principles of Qigong (energy work).

"I am amazed at how quickly T'ai Chi Chih practice has changed my life for the better!  My balance and mental clarity have improved and my blood pressure is under control."

- Betty Ann C., student, age 86

"I feel much calmer and the pieces of my life are more in balance now that I do T'ai Chi Chih practice daily!"

- Donna H., student, age 55
